about me
I was born in Bucharest in 1978 and I studied art restoration in Romania. Currently I resides in Bucharest. I have my artworks exhibited across Romania, and also in Serbia, France and U.S.A. in over 40 group shows. I have five solo exhibitions, among which I will mention “Gothic” in 2008 (curator Cosmin Nasui) and “Agapa” in 2012 (curator François Launay). My paintings combine the techniques of easel and wall painting. The assemblage-like works create a scene by integrating the space that circumscribes the work (the wall, the vital space around the picture) that is inserted in the piece of work, becoming in this way an element of the composition. In my career I have participated in projects of mural art (industrial mural art) I have restored works of classical and ancient painting, and taken part in scenography for shows in Romania and France. In 2011 I created the art gallery “The Lobby Contemporary Art” and I was curator of this space for one year. My artworks can be found in private collections in Romania, France, Serbia, Hungary, Italy, and the United States.
